The maintenance workshops of the Lattakia Water Establishment completed this morning the repair of the fault on the second traction line at the Al-Bassa site, and gradually re-pumped water to neighborhoods in the center of Lattakia city.
The Director General of the Foundation, Eng. Tariq Ismail Bin, told SANA reporter that water is expected to reach the city’s neighborhoods this afternoon.
The foundation’s maintenance workshops started yesterday, fixing the malfunction that caused the suspension of pumping on the line feeding several areas in central Lattakia, the Ghaneiri axis in the Jableh countryside, and the villages of Rahbeya, Bsaisin, Batrah, Al Sharashir, Bustan Al-Basha and Hmeimim in the vicinity of Jableh.
