Demonstrations in Austria against Corona restrictions

Thousands of people demonstrated today in the Austrian capital, Vienna, against government restrictions imposed to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic.

Reuters reported that the protesters carried banners denouncing the government's decisions regarding the restrictions imposed to combat the virus, while the authorities deployed about 1,200 policemen to keep pace with the demonstrations that broke out from different locations in Vienna.

Austria had imposed four closures to counter the increase in cases of the Corona virus.
