Deir Ezzor-SANA
In appreciation of the sacrifices of their children in order to defend the homeland, 50 families of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army were honored today in Deir Ezzor Governorate.
During the honoring, several speeches were delivered that expressed the greatness of martyrdom and martyrs, and the advantages and honors enjoyed by the families of the martyrs in Syria.
The head of the Martyrs' Affairs Branch in the Eastern Region, Brigadier General Bassam Al-Hamid, indicated in a statement to SANA's reporter that the honor included 50 families of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army, in appreciation of their sacrifices and heroisms for the sake of the nation's dignity.
In turn, the families of the martyrs expressed their pride in their sons who, with their pure blood, illuminated the path to victory over the enemies of the homeland and humanity, stressing that martyrdom will remain the value of the values rooted in the hearts of all honorable Syrians.
The honoring was attended by the governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, the secretary of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party branch, Raed Al-Ghadban, and the commander of the eastern region.
