One of them was suspected of having attempted to organize an attack on Roazhon Park, the main stadium in the city of Rennes.
Before his arrest, he was preparing to leave for Syria, local media reported.
The second young man, who was sentenced to six years in prison, was arrested while translating propaganda texts into French and offered to help his co-accused to instigate an attack .
However, he assured that he never imagined taking action himself.

The two penalties, which were pronounced by the special court of Assizes for minors of Paris, are lower than those requested by the attorney general, notes France Bleu.
The latter had requested twelve years' imprisonment for the first accused and eight for the second.
