Italy recorded 16,632 new infections with the Corona virus and 75 deaths from it during the past 24 hours.
And Reuters news agency quoted the Italian Ministry of Health as saying in a statement that the total number of HIV infections in the country reached 5,94,072, while the total deaths reached 134,152.
Yesterday, Italy recorded 74 deaths and 17,030 infections with the virus.
Italy ranks second in Europe in terms of the number of deaths from corona, after Britain.
