The government and the Liaison Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China jointly organized the "National Constitution Day" symposium, which was held online this year. The theme was the constitution and "One Country, Two Systems".
In the remaining two weeks before the Legislative Council election, the speech may touch on "patriots ruling Hong Kong" and calls for voting.
At the symposium, Zhang Yong, deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and deputy director of the Hong Kong Basic Law Committee, will also deliver a keynote speech.
The dialogue session will be hosted by Fan Xu Litai, University of Science and Technology Adjunct Professor Lei Dingming, and former NPC representative Liu Peiqiong will discuss how Hong Kong can better implement "One Country, Two Systems" within the framework of the Constitution.
