Athletes of the national team started their second day of visit to Hong Kong today (4th). In addition to the demonstration performances at the Victoria Park Swimming Pool and Queen Elizabeth Stadium, as well as the "Olympic Athletes Parade", 5 of the 29 elites who came with the group came to Hong Kong. In the morning, an athlete also went to the Fire and Ambulance Academy to meet with members of the disciplined services. Among the 500 people participating in the event, in addition to members of the disciplined services, there were also members of the youth uniform teams of the various troops.
Five athletes from the National Weightlifting Team and Track and Field Team, including Li Fabin (men's weightlifting 61kg), Chen Lijun (men's 67kg weightlifting), and Gong Lijiao (women's Shot put), Liu Shiying (women's javelin) and Su Bingtian (men's 100m).
The Secretary for Security Deng Pingqiang and the heads of the six disciplined forces welcomed five people before the event.
In his speech, Deng Bingqiang especially thanked the delegation for taking the time to exchange meetings with the disciplined forces during its close schedule, and also sent a message to the disciplined forces and youth uniform team members to learn from the perseverance and hard work of the national team representatives and actively equip themselves.
After the five national team East Olympics representatives showed their skills one by one, and shared their experience of success.
The event also includes a pull cart to raise funds for the Hong Kong Special Olympics.
