Pope will return to Rome with 50 migrants from Cyprus 0:50
(CNN) -
Pope Francis arrived in Athens this Saturday morning, on the third day of his visit to Cyprus and Greece.
Francis' two days in Greece, as in Cyprus, will be marked by attention to the situation of immigrants in the Mediterranean.
This Sunday, Francisco returns to visit the Greek island of Lesbos, where he will visit a refugee center.
When he visited in 2016, the pope brought 12 Syrian refugees from the island back to Rome on his plane.
"It is my responsibility to open the eyes of the people," the pope told a group of refugees in Nicosia, Cyprus on Friday, referring to the plight of migrants.
