Thousands of people demonstrated again in the center of the Netherlands today, against the new restrictions imposed by the government to curb the spread of the Corona virus.
Reuters reported that thousands of demonstrators gathered in the streets of the city of Utrecht, carrying banners denouncing the new restrictions imposed, which came into effect at the end of last week, amid a heavy police presence.
The new restrictions included the nightly closure of bars, restaurants and most stores in an effort to control the spread of the Corona virus, which threatens to flood the country's health care system.
The Netherlands witnessed violent protests two weeks ago after the government announced plans to ban entry to public places for most people who have not been vaccinated against the virus.
