The 2021/2022 ski season has indeed started in France, despite the fifth wave of Covid-19.

After Tignes and Les 2-Alpes in October for glacier skiing, Val Thorens opened its ski area on November 20.

The 3 Valleys resort is kicking off a promising season, with bookings skyrocketing for the Christmas and winter holidays.

Snow has fallen in abundance on our massifs in recent days, even reaching almost record levels in the Pyrenees.

Consequence: a multitude of Nordic ski areas have also opened.

The vigor of the epidemic however led to the development of a precise sanitary protocol for the ski lifts.
