All five candidates from the education sector attended today's election forum.
Regarding the recently launched values education curriculum framework by the Education Bureau, Lim Rifeng explained that because the Education Bureau does not necessarily think of the school’s culture and space, he suggested that schools use the framework as a blueprint, and consider teaching according to the student’s family background and school culture.

Ding Jianhua, who is also the chairman of the Kindergarten Education Professional Exchange Association, said that school children’s suicide is often heard in society, but it is unfair to blame the school or teacher. He said that if he is elected to the Legislative Council, a concern group will be set up.
Another candidate, Wen Yongshi, questioned whether the Hong Kong government had left room for teachers and students to communicate, and whether the police had thoroughly investigated the cause of death.

In the self-introduction session, Wen Shiyong stated that teachers can only stand by themselves if they have a sense of risk.
