Terrorism in the Old City:
Avraham Elmaleh, 20, is injured in a terrorist attack that took place today (Saturday) at the Nablus Gate in Jerusalem.
Elmaleh, who was stabbed in the chest, back and neck, said that he crossed the road near the Nablus Gate and was then attacked: "I returned from the opening prayer at the Western Wall. I crossed the road. I did not notice and chased a terrorist."
"He jumped on me with a knife and came to murder me and stabbed me all over my body," the young man described the moments of horror.
"He tried to stab a Jew. He beat me in the chest, back, head. Our soldier who was there saw that I was fighting with him, separated us and then killed the terrorist. The fighters saved me."

"It is a Hanukkah miracle. I was the only Jew who passed there. As soon as the soldiers arrived, he left me and went to them," Elmaleh added, emphasizing again: "It shows that he was looking to harm the Jews. The soldiers saved me. Without them I would not be here today."
Elmaleh is hospitalized in a stable condition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
