And Sputnik news agency quoted Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that Presidents Putin and Biden will hold a video meeting next Tuesday.
For his part, a White House official said that Putin and Biden will discuss next Tuesday the situation in Ukraine and a wide range of other topics.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov assured his US counterpart, Anthony Blinken, during talks in Stockholm yesterday that dragging Ukraine into the US geopolitical game will have dire consequences, calling for the establishment of sustainable security guarantees on Russia's borders and the West within the framework of Russia's legitimate and obligatory demand.
It is noteworthy that the United States is leading a Western political and propaganda campaign accusing Russia of massing its forces on the border with Ukraine in order to justify NATO's eastward expansion and the deployment of nuclear missiles close to the Russian border.
