A movie with Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Lady Gaga can not be bad Israel today

83-year-old Ridley Scott is in a crazy swing.

One evening in the late 1970s, she meets the shy heir of millions, Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) at a party, and decides that she will do anything to capture him in her net.

Rodolfo (Jeremy Irons), Mauricio's snobby and coughing father, warns his son against patricia and threatens to delete him from the will if he marries her, but Maurizio does not listen.

Meanwhile, Rodolfo's brother, Aldo (El Pacino), who runs Gucci's fashion empire from New York, also has problems with his stupid and undisciplined son, Paolo (Jared Leto), and the sharp-witted Patricia encourages Maurizio to take advantage of This is to move on to the big apple, tighten his ties with the uncle and take a more active part in the family business.

Dramatically, "Gucci House" is not a particularly serious, in-depth or sophisticated film.

Although it lasts nearly three hours and spans nearly three decades, you will learn almost nothing from it about the legendary fashion house at its center (or about the fashion business in general), and except for a few successful courtship scenes in the first half of the film, the piece adopts a tone of soap opera.

At the same time, the skilled cast works overtime to realize the juiciness potential of the raw materials and make watching an exciting experience - and it can certainly be said that it is a success.

Lady Gaga (who has reportedly remained in the character of Patricia for a long time) delivers an energetic, sweeping and entertaining performance that is educated to capture the temperament of her tragic character.

True, her accent comes and goes and does not sound Italian for a moment, but her presence and style or her commitment to the role cannot be ignored.

Another person who can not be ignored is Jared Leto, who as usual goes too far as the family's black sheep.

Every syllable that comes out of Paulo's perpetually open mouth is presented with great exaggeration that turns the character into a ridiculous cartoon and a perpetual comedic pause.

Adam Driver and Jeremy Irons, on the other hand, are as efficient and elegant as usual, while Al Pacino continues his winning streak from recent years and delivers a warm and wonderful paternal performance as Aldo.

"Gucci House" may not be a quality movie.

But thanks to his cast he is not boring for a moment.
