A student armed with a knife at the Florida Institute of Technology was shot dead by police in the southeastern state of Florida, USA.
The Melbourne Police Department said today that an 18-year-old student who was carrying a knife on campus was shot dead by officers.
The administration added that the police arrived at the university after receiving reports of a person on the university campus armed with a knife who tried to attack the students.
