The government today (Sunday) approved Operation Antigen III in the education system, which has been launched since Tuesday - with the return of students to schools and kindergartens from the Hanukkah holiday.
As part of the operation, students will be required to present a signed statement by their parents about performing an antigen test with a negative result as a condition of entering the institution.
"I suggest not underestimating Omicron," said Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
"There are those who say 'but the situation is so good in the country, so why are you coming and making it difficult?'. The reason the situation is good in the country is because we act fast and tight. Be careful at first than regret it later. "

Tomorrow, the Vaccines Committee will convene to discuss vaccination for recovering children aged 11-5.
One of the issues on the committee's agenda is the provision of a fourth vaccine for immunosuppressants, even though there is no evidence of a decrease in booster efficacy in all populations, including at-risk populations.
