We all know the special bond between Corinne Gideon and her husband Hili.
It goes without saying that a strictly secular woman would meet with a strictly ultra-Orthodox family, and lo and behold, it happened from all of them to Corinne Gideon.
There is a lot of talk about mixed couples in the context of Shuli Rand and Scout Grant, and even if Hili is no longer as ultra-Orthodox as his parents, it is nice to see how the two respect, each in his own way, their families.

In the context of Hanukkah, and after spending time lighting candles with the ultra-Orthodox family, Gideon wrote on Instagram today (Sunday) that "my miracle in life is not only my army, but the place it comes from. Thanks to him and his family, I got to know an entire sector "And what we do not know, we are usually afraid of ..."

"I was a person with prejudices," she revealed.
"I only grew up with people like me - secular. Then in mid-life I got a chance to get to know the other and that's the best thing that happened to me. Not everything went smoothly and there are issues that are still avoided, so what. It does not detract from the huge love and respect between us. "And that's how it feels all the time. The closest there is."

"I do not carry any flag, I just share my personal experience, the miracle that happened to me," she declared.
"Maybe the next time you meet someone different from you, shut down your instincts for a minute and try to really get to know him. You'll almost certainly find that he's actually really, really similar to you," she signed the important post.
