Special envoy to Jeddah
Did Emmanuel Macron succeed in persuading the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed Ben Salman (MBS), whom he met on Saturday in Jeddah, to come back to the aid of a Lebanon which does not stop sinking?
The two men telephoned Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati together, the French president said after his talks with MBS, which ended his two-day tour of the Gulf.

According to the press, Arabia has rejected a French proposal to invite Prime Minister Mikati to a three-way meeting with MM.
