Today, India recorded 2,689 new deaths from the Corona virus, the highest death toll since last July.
According to a spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Health, the state of Bihar in the east of the country added 2,426 deaths that were not registered after it reviewed its death numbers, and the southern state of Kerala added 263 deaths to its statistics today.
According to the latest statistics of the World Meters website, the total number of infections with the Corona virus in India reached 34 million and 615,757 cases, and the total deaths were 470,620 cases.
India still ranks second in the world after the United States in terms of the number of HIV infections and third after the United States and Brazil in terms of the number of related deaths.
