Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission has warned of the deterioration of the health of the two captives, Israa Jaabis and Fairouz Al-Bo, as a result of the arbitrary Israeli occupation practices against them, foremost of which is deliberate medical negligence.
Wafa Agency quoted the commission as saying in a statement today that the prisoner Jaabis, who was arrested on 10/11/2015 while driving her vehicle in a street in occupied Jerusalem, suffered severe burns all over her body as a result of the outbreak of fire inside her vehicle and suffers from the consequences of her injuries, as she can only breathe from Her mouth and her fingers melted from the fire and the rest of her stuck to each other, except for severe burns and ulcers that she still suffers from on two thirds of her body.
The commission indicated that the occupation is holding the captive Jaabis in Damoun detention center and refraining from providing her with the necessary treatment, despite her urgent need to perform several surgeries.
The commission pointed to the deterioration of the health of the captive Fairouz Al-Bo, who was shot in the foot during her arrest by the occupation forces four months ago in occupied Jerusalem, indicating that the occupation authorities are holding her in a solitary cell and refraining from providing her with treatment.
32 Palestinian female prisoners, including 9 mothers, are subjected to the worst types of psychological and physical torture in the occupation detention centers amid the silence of the international community and its failure to compel the occupation to stop its violations against the prisoners.
