Explosions were heard today (Sunday) inside the U.S. base in the Tanf area east of Homs province.
This was reported on Syrian television.
It is a base near the Syrian-Iraqi border, and its very presence is contrary to the interests of both the Assad regime and Iran.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Al-Arabiya network reported on trucks arriving in the eastern Syrian city of al-Myadin.
The report, which was based on the Syrian Center for Human Rights, alleged that the trucks were carrying weapons and ammunition for the Iranian militias.
This is not the first incident in Tanf recently.
On October 21, a UAV attacked the base. A senior U.S. military official told the Associated Press at the time that it was a combined and coordinated attack by several aircraft against the base, but claimed there were no U.S. casualties in the attack.

According to the source, who provided the information anonymously, no casualties are also known to local forces and allies of the United States in the attack.
The main suspects in the attack are pro-Iranian militias active in Syria.
In the past, Iranian UAVs have attacked US bases in Iraq and Syria.
One month earlier, US fighter jets had intercepted unidentified drones over a US base in Syrian territory.
