The councils of the towns and villages of Shaqa, Al Raha and Busan in As-Suwayda Governorate have completed the works of the Asphalt Road Construction Project, as part of the efforts to improve the service situation there.
Ramzi Abu Hassoun, head of Shaqa Town Council, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the project included roads whose condition was not good, pointing out that the council contracted with the Directorate of Technical Services to rehabilitate the landfill on the Shaka-Saad road, and is also preparing to contract to implement a low-voltage electric network in the area. industrial town.
In turn, the head of the Al-Raha Municipality Council, Saado Abu Ras, explained that the roads were chosen in vital areas based on an actual need to rehabilitate them, pointing to the preparation of a similar project to extend an asphalt shirt for an additional road during the coming days, as well as preparations to start a sewage project.
For his part, Busan Municipal Council Chairman Qusay Al-Shaer stated that the project included paving and asphalting two new roads to serve houses that have not been serviced by roads for more than a year, as well as laying asphalt shirts for two roads whose technical condition was poor.
For his part, the head of the Sahwa Al-Balata Municipality Council, Saeed Al-Bunni, indicated that the Technical Services Directorate has started implementing a sewage project in the village, pointing out that the project serves the eastern neighborhood of the village and contributes to alleviating environmental damage, eliminating dependence on technical injustices in the area in which it is located, and protecting one of the springs close to pollution.
