", the little girl who died in an accident on the ski slopes, starting with the extension of the obligation of an insurance contextual to the purchase of the ticket for access. to the slope and from the obligation to use the helmet even for those over 14 years old, in the practice of alpine skiing and snowboarding, in all skiable areas including off-piste routes. For managers of skiable areas, the obligation is introduced to install a semi-automatic defibrillator in a suitable place and to ensure the presence of trained personnel for its use.



    In addition, "the figure of the director of the slopes has been established in charge of supervising the safety of the slopes" and "civil liability of the plant managers for non-observance of the rules is envisaged". "The general criteria of behavior and safety for the practice of ski mountaineering and other sports activities in the equipped skiable areas are also defined, as well as adequate measures, including sanctions, which guarantee compliance with the obligations and prohibitions established and full exercise. of the aforementioned sports in safe conditions, without new or greater burdens on the managers ".

The non-profit organization "The smile of Matilde" aims to raise public awareness on the issue of prevention and safety of children who practice skiing.
