The activities of the Syrian-Armenian Culture Days were launched in Aleppo today, in cooperation between the Arab Writers Union and the Governorate’s Culture Directorate, on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Aziziyah and will last for 3 days.
The Director of Aleppo Culture, Jaber Al-Sajur, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that culture is rooted in this city, which includes all shades, especially the ancient Armenian culture, indicating that through these events, the original Armenian literary productions will be illuminated.
The writer, Dr. Hori Azarian, gave a brief overview of ancient Armenian poetry and a pause for one of the Armenian poets to illuminate this style of authentic Armenian literature that began in the sixth century BC and has continued until today to impart a mixture of originality to the cultural movement.
The writer Salbi Kasparian presented emotional reflections entitled The Black Shroud and talks about the marriage of underage girls during the Armenian Genocide and their suffering.
