"Israel Today" has learned that the young people are staying in solitary confinement at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Jerusalem, after being exposed to a patient during the trip.

The Dan Panorama Hotel in Jerusalem is isolating three IDF soldiers who returned from France last week, Israel Today learned today (Sunday). The

soldiers were found verified and are suspected of carrying the South African omicron variant. In addition, there is another soldier who was exposed to the patient but has not yet received a positive result and is in isolation at his home.

Another high-certainty suspect for the Omicron variant is a 24-year-old who arrived on a flight from Addis Ababa with his partner and is in solitary confinement at a hotel.

His partner will also be sampled once again.

The Alon headquarters warned in the daily assessment of the situation that "there is no treatment for insulation violators with suspicion of Omicron."

They also noted that the isolation regulations do not comply with the guidelines for dealing with the Omicron and that the Israel Police needs to be enforced for returnees from abroad.

Following last night's publication, 16% of those entering Israel who arrived on Monday this week did not take the second test, on the third day after landing.

The test was decided as part of the new outline of entry into Israel to combat the spread of the Omicron strain.

"Most of the morbidity today is in children and unvaccinated."

As of this moment, since the new outline went into effect, 2,651 people have not been tested in a second test out of 15,820 who returned on Monday, which is the first day the decision went into effect.

Meanwhile, a discussion of the Vaccine Advisory Committee will take place on Tuesday and will raise the issue of vaccinating recovering children aged 5 to 11 or with a positive serological test.

In addition, the committee is also expected to discuss the administration of a fourth booster dose to immunosuppressants and the administration of a follow-up vaccine (second or third dose) to children affected by a neurological disease in the vicinity of the vaccine.
