After the "Tsuen Kwai Tsing Parade" in August the previous year, clashes occurred in the area of Sham Shui Po Police Station. 10 men and women were arrested for allegedly participating in an illegal assembly.
One of the men who had stood on the front line of the demonstrators pleaded guilty today (6th), while the remaining 9 denied charges and were on trial. The prosecution opened the case and mentioned that there were 3 illegal gatherings that night, and many of the defendants were photographed. Arrived at the front line, and all the defendants were arrested during the police raid.
The 10 defendants are: 17-year-old boy with the surname Ye, Lin Jiafeng (36 years old, unemployed), Lin Haoting (28 years old, surveyor), Lin Yijin (25 years old, construction worker), Han Zitong (23 years old, unemployed), Wu Nanhai (20 years old) , Waiter), Huang Zefeng (21 years old, student), Tang Henghui (23 years old, student), Gong Hanwen (23 years old, MTR technician) and Lu Yubai (19 years old, student).
All were charged with the same illegal assembly. A 17-year-old boy surnamed Ye was charged with another illegal assembly. The sixth defendant Wu Nanhai pleaded guilty to the illegal assembly.
A demonstrator shot a laser at the police officer
The prosecution's opening statement stated that on August 25, 2019, demonstrators gathered in Sham Shui Po. A total of 3 illegal gatherings took place. A 17-year-old boy surnamed Ye was involved in two illegal gatherings that night, one of which he was accused of. Wandering and staying at the junction of Yen Chau Street and Fuk Wah Street, they also gathered with demonstrators who used lasers to illuminate police officers. They also raised their left hand in an attempt to indicate moving vehicles.
On another occasion, he was accused of standing on the front line of demonstrators on Yen Chau Street outside the West Kowloon Center.

Four of the defendants were also photographed standing among the demonstrators. Someone once called "Sir, don't you support the black flag?" All the defendants were later arrested during the raid.
The case against the sixth defendant, Wu Nanhai, alleged that he stood on the front line of the protesters during the illegal assembly, and the demonstrators were shouting insulting and provocative words against the police officers.
