The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 45 deaths and 902 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesman, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, stated in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 363,162, and the total deaths have reached 20,727.
Abdul Ghaffar indicated that 871 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 301,308 people to date.
