A fatal industrial accident occurred in North Point.
At 8:46 am today (6th), a 34-year-old male worker surnamed Dai was hit by a piece of concrete on the head while he was working on the scaffolding on the outer wall of the Huangdu Theater Building demolition site and immediately fell into a coma.
He was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital but died.
Sources at the scene indicated that the police are investigating whether the stone fell from a place other than the above-mentioned construction site, which caused the accident.

The site was located at Nos. 279 to 291 King’s Road, North Point. According to reports, the 34-year-old man named Dai was working on a scaffolding outside the wall and he had a safety rope fastened. A piece of concrete fell into a coma when hitting the head; while the concrete fell and shattered.
