Al-Hasakah-SANA
The branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Al-Hasakah sold 1,100 tons of sifted and sterilized wheat seed to farmers to secure the seed for the winter season.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Eng. Ayed Al-Hussein, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter the continuation of sales to farmers under the agricultural license and a clearance from the Agricultural Bank branch and a letter from the Directorate of Agriculture in which the farmer pledges to supply all his production to the grain receiving centers of the branch of the Syrian Grain Foundation in Qamishli.
Al-Hussein indicated that the quantities of sterilized and ready-to-sale wheat reached 2,800 tons of wheat seed.
