The Public Housing Corporation called on citizens, occupants of houses at risk of collapsing, in the Mezzeh 86 area, to review its headquarters located on the Mezzeh Highway, next to Dar Al-Baath, on Tuesday, December 21, to choose the housing that will be allocated to them.
According to the announcement, which SANA obtained a copy of, the Foundation called on the housing occupants covered by the approval of the Prime Minister No. 16699/1 dated 11/24/2019 to review it to choose the housing that will be allocated to them and complete the payments up to 50 percent of the appraised value of the housing upon allotment.
On November 24, 2019, the Prime Minister agreed to address the situation of the occupants of rented housing in the Barzeh Almaza Khalil project in the Damascus governorate due to a collapse of the soil in the Mezzeh 86 area and the cracking of a number of houses by securing a subscription for them with the Public Housing Corporation.
