There are currently 5,330 active Corona patients in Israel, 153 are hospitalized - of whom 112 are in critical condition, 62 of whom are respirators.

No patient died from the virus yesterday, bringing the death toll in Israel since the outbreak to 8,204.

Data from the Ministry of Health also show that 6,371,876 Israelis received the first vaccine against the corona.

5,782,034 were also vaccinated in the second dose and 4,100,145 of them also received the third dose.

Meanwhile, the Vaccine Advisory Committee will convene tomorrow to discuss the possibility of vaccinating in the fourth dose those who are defined as vaccinated.

The committee members will also deal with the issue of vaccinating recovering children aged 11-5 or with a positive serological test, as well as providing follow-up vaccinations (second or third dose) to children affected by a neurological disease near the vaccine.

We emphasize that organ transplant experts, who were partners in the decision to give a third dose to transplant recipients, said that they were not familiar with data on the decline in the effectiveness of the third dose.
