At about 7 am today (6th), the police raided a 200-foot industrial unit at No. 30 Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, based on information and after in-depth investigation, and seized 1 nunchaku and 1 nunchaku inside the unit. One dagger, two swords and nine swords.

The police arrested a couple in the unit. They were a 35-year-old man surnamed Sun, who claimed to be a construction worker; and a 43-year-old woman surnamed Huang, who was reported to be unemployed. They were suspected of “possession of offensive weapons” and “possession of prohibited weapons”. Arrested and is now being detained for investigation.

The case is still under investigation, and it is not ruled out that more people have been arrested.

The police reiterated that possession of offensive weapons is a serious crime. Anyone who conceals any offensive weapons and intends to use them for illegal purposes, upon conviction, can be fined 5,000 yuan or imprisoned for 2 years. The public should not try the law on their own.
