A resident of East Jerusalem is accused of bringing the boy into a room in the mosque where he worked, where he committed an indecent act • According to the indictment filed against him, after he carried out his plot at the age of 12, Yahya Yassin promised to give him money if he came to the place again

Yahya Yassin, a sex offender from Jerusalem who is under supervision, is accused of committing an indecent act on a 12-year-old boy, whom he pushed into a room in a mosque where he works as a cleaner to carry out his plot.

Documentation from the security cameras at the scene, which was obtained by "Israel Today", shows the cleaner exchanging a few words with the boy, who arrived at a place riding his bicycle.

He was then seen pulling him by the hand and pushing him into an adjoining room, where, according to the indictment the prosecution filed over the weekend in the city district court, he committed an indecent act on him.

The court last year issued a supervision and follow-up order against Yassin in accordance with the Public Protection of Sex Offenses Act.

In light of the past of 70-year-old Yassin, the order banned him from connecting, contacting and staying in units with minors of both sexes.

The boy walks around the mosque, before Yassin pushes him into a side room to sexually assault him,

The indictment states that the 12-year-old arrived at the mosque, which is in East Jerusalem, where Mysin asked to enter so that he could play in the playground inside.

The cleaner allowed him to enter the courtyard, then ordered him to enter a room next to the mosque, which serves as an office.

The boy refused and intended to leave the place, but then, according to the indictment, Yassin pulled him by the hand and pushed him into the same room and bed that was inside, where he attacked him.

When the act was over, the boy intended to leave the room, and then Yahya promised to give him money every time he got to the place.

The boy told his family what had happened, and she decided to file a complaint with the police.

Investigators later located the suspect - and arrested him.

He was questioned and his detention was extended until the indictment against him was filed a few days ago.

The head of an investigation office at a Jerusalem district court, Inspector David Cohen, said of the case: "Especially wherever and whenever it takes."
