The corona-related delays have been fully made up, but concerns are the sharply rising costs for metal and wood.

Feldkirchen

- Erwin and Sebastian Kuhn from the company "KMP Project Control" reported on the progress of the construction work on the former Raiffeisen site. A residential complex is being built here with apartments for the elderly, lunchtime care and a community center. "At the beginning we had a delay of four to six weeks due to Corona, which has now been made up for," said Erwin Kuhn. The ceiling above the underground car park has been completely concreted, and the structural work in two of three houses has now been completed. "The windows are currently being installed in House 2 so that the house is sealed before the winter months, the electrical engineering department has already started the first work," says Sebastian Kuhn.

The electrical work also begins in House 3, and the roof waterproofing work is in progress.

In House 1, which is on Raiffeisenstrasse and the closest to the S-Bahn, the shell work on the third floor is currently underway and will be completed in February 2022.

According to Kuhn, a winter heating system in the "tight" buildings will enable further expansion during the winter.

Total costs of around 28.4 million euros

In the case of tenders and awards, the prices have so far been kept very well. "Only where wood, such as parquet, or metal, for example for cellar partitions, are involved, we cannot keep the estimates and calculations because of the constantly rising raw material prices," said Erwin Kuhn. Nevertheless, the total is around 28.4 million euros, which is a good 1.6 million euros below the cost calculation without risk and price increase surcharges. “As it stands at the moment, the community does not have to provide any additional funds that go beyond the maximum budget of 33.9 million euros,” said Sebastian Kuhn to the great satisfaction of the community council. According to the Kuhns, this very good result is also largely due to the fact that most of the companies involved came from southern Bavaria.

Completion and handover is still planned for April 2023.

Mayor Andreas Janson (UWV) that things are going really well on the construction site and that everyone is extremely satisfied.
