A few days after the first interview he gave following the shooting incident on the set in which he was involved, Alec Baldwin closes his official Twitter account.
The 63-year-old player has two approved accounts, in one of which he was particularly active.
This account, @AlecBaldwin has been shut down and deleted from the social network.
Last month, following the incident in which photographer Lina Hatchkins was killed by a gun that was not supposed to be loaded with ammunition, the account's settings were changed to "Private".
This means that only followers of the account will be able to see and read his tweets.
The account is now completely deleted.
Baldwin's second account, @AlecBaldwin_, still exists, but it appears that the last activity on it occurred on October 19th.
Previously, content from the account was only published in June.
As early as last month, the definitions of the Twitter account "Hillary and Alec Baldwin", the charity organization of the star and his wife, were also changed to a "private" account.
It is unknown at this time what caused the actor to delete his personal account, but there are those who choose to find a connection between this act and the interview Baldwin gave last week to George Stephanopoulos of the ABC channel, in which he gave his version of the tragedy on the set of "Rust".
In an interview, Baldwin said he did not pull the trigger of the gun that led to the photographer's death, explaining that he rehearsed a scene with Hatchkins.
At this point, he claims, the bullet was fired.
