Sandra Cornant, shoe designer, had the crazy idea of creating models with heels in fragments of the Moon.
Under the name of Rose Mercier, she exhibits her three exceptionally luxurious shoes in the windows of the Ritz in Paris.

I wanted to represent the three emblematic shoes of the women's wardrobe,”
explains the Frenchwoman.
A timeless pump, a sophisticated and sexy sandal and a very feminine mule. ”
But why the Moon?
“
I wanted to create something extraordinary and I quickly thought of extraterrestrial materials.
The Moon has always exerted a fascination on me
.
She is a symbol of femininity and one feels a strong connection with her, more than other planets.
Fifty two years after man's first step on the moon, I wanted to help women walk there.
Thanks to the meteorite researcher Luc Labenne, I had access to this extremely rare material, of which we only find 20 kg per year.
