Two weeks after the regulations restricting the entry of tourists came into force, the environment of Tourism Minister Yoel Rezbozov estimates that restrictions on the entry of vaccinated tourists into Israel will not be extended - and they will be able to arrive in Israel as early as next week.
The same factors further add that if it turns out that the new variant Omicron is not resistant to the vaccine, it will require that the borders be opened to tourists even before the designated date.

Tonight, a discussion is expected with the participation of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and senior officials of the Ministry of Health in order to make a decision regarding the continuation of the regulations, some of which restrict many Israelis returning from abroad these days.
As you may recall, the main restrictions on Israelis returning from abroad are three days of isolation for the vaccinated subject to two corona tests, even if they return from an orange or yellow country, which has not been the case so far.
