He moved to the New Democrat Party to run for the Legislative Council last year, and this year he was promoted to the election committee. This time he settled in the northeastern New Territories to participate in direct elections.

During an exclusive interview with "Hong Kong 01", he talked about the future development direction.

He also revealed that although he has withdrawn from the Liberal Party and has different political views with the "Master" Tian Beijun, he still has a good relationship with the other party and will not criticize the other party. Political issues are not as hot as last year: I think keep it right

Li Zijing said that many people knew him after he was transformed into a KOL. In fact, his community work experience is based on 10 years. There is considerable recognition in his work, and the New Democrats and the Citizen Force team have worked in the northeastern part of the New Territories for nearly 30 years and have a solid foundation. KOL enters the room: the word "little yellow man" is only used online

Since the rise of social media for more than a decade, it has become an important political communication tool all over the world, but it has also brought great side effects: because people of the same stand are easy to gather together, under the "echo chamber effect", the masses of different standpoints warm up and continue to strengthen. With existing ideas, KOLs must first arouse their emotions if they want to gain attention, and society is prone to push it to extremes.

When KOLs "enter the room" to participate in the system, society will inevitably worry about whether radical comments on the Internet will also be brought into the parliament.

Li Zijing emphasized that there is no need to worry. First of all, KOL is an "extension of political work." The two cannot be completely separated: "Everyone often says that senior government officials must have the ability to explain policies. KOL is a platform. Let us put forward some initiatives. The public will watch the news. At that time, it’s impossible for TV news to discuss a policy with you for 10 minutes, but our platform can be more detailed.” Furthermore, he also understands that posting comments on the Internet and facing the public require different requirements: “In Parliament What you are facing is the general public. Supporters feel that Hong Kong’s current affairs are “the more boring the talk”, and they will talk more about international affairs

He also revealed the direction of future development. It is expected that comments on Hong Kong affairs will be reduced and the content of international current affairs will be expanded. Li Zijing said that once he becomes a member of the Legislative Council, he may know the inside story of some political events and major policies. "Either we expose the inside information or deliberately avoid editing another version." However, he believes that both are not ideal in terms of political ethics. Focus on transportation policy and civil service reform

When it comes to a specific level, Li Zijing understands that if he is to be a member of the Legislative Council, it is impossible to just talk about politics.

He said that he has a lot of personal involvement in transportation policies. For example, the traffic problems in the New Northeast have not been resolved for a long time. He suggested that the "Caoshan Tunnel" should be built as soon as possible. A second north-south route is needed.

On social networks, many pro-democracy supporters do not like his style and even use some insulting names for "creation." Li Zijing said frankly that he is used to it and can't care too much.
