The Republic of Latvia announced the detection of the first two cases of the Omicron mutant of the Corona virus.
The Gulbis Center for Disease Prevention and Control was quoted by the Latvian Lita Agency as saying, "The two cases of the mutated virus belong to travelers who arrived at Riga International Airport two days ago," noting that more tests will be conducted for samples at the airport, according to the method that has been developed.
