Bonuido: Nir Hefetz on the witness stand during his cross-examination in the Netanyahu trial (Walla system!)

Ben-Zur: "I say that the material was intended to pressure you, the person who published this material was released to the media before you entered into an agreement with the state."

The cross-examination of state witness Nir Hefetz in the 4000 case, became an investigation into the source of an investigation by News 13 journalist Ayala Hasson.

During the court hearing, former Prime Minister Netanyahu's attorney, Advocate Boaz Ben-Zur, repeatedly asked about images about trains that investigators raised during investigations, such as "the train left the station," as part of pressure on Hefetz to become a state witness, but Hefetz said he did not no idea why they used the term, and under the window interrogation room underwent many railways, several times a day, and he guessed that the image came from.

Ben Tzur quoted response from an article published in the Eye of the seventh ", after Ayala Hasson has published investigative news 10, regarding the affair passage of an object , In which his navigation partner was killed in a train accident, about ten days after an object was released from custody.

In March 2018, Hasson published an investigation into an incident from Hefetz's military service, in which his navigating friend, the late Ronen Yellin, was killed after being run over to death by a train. According to the investigation, in 1984 Masa ran over Yellin, who was without his personal vest and weapon. The mysterious incident was investigated by DIP, and it was alleged that Yellin tried to commit suicide, but his family rejected the claim that he was loved and full of life.

The investigation revealed that in 1987 the investigation was reopened following the suspicion that Yellin was killed by a bullet ejection and an object was questioned about it and was found to be telling the truth in a polygraph examination, but the case was closed.

"Know personal information"

The investigation was published ten days after Hefetz was released from custody and signed a state witness agreement, and Hefetz explained that he believed the leak came from the entourage of former Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Ben-Zur accused the police of leaking the materials to Hasson: "I say the material was meant to pressure you, the person who took this material out to the media before you signed a state agreement to press you, then all the talk about trains gets that simple clarification."

Hefetz responded: "Let's say that his son (Yair Netanyahu, Y.P.) addressed this in his interrogation, according to media reports, in his gentle way."

Judge Moshe Bar-Am asked Ben-Zur: "Do we have anything beyond my master's appreciation, beyond what my master says I know?"

And Ben-Zur replied, "I know personal information."

Shortly afterwards, Golan Yokfaz, former CEO of News 10, tweeted a denial: "Adv. Ben Tzur's claim is a complete lie."
