The government recognized the vaccination records of four more regions, including Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Togo. The relevant arrangements will be implemented this Wednesday (8th).
The authorities announced earlier that they would accept the vaccination records approved under the EU's COVID-19 Digital Pass mechanism as the approved vaccination records required for boarding and arriving in Hong Kong from high-risk Group A designated areas.
The European Union recently announced that under this mechanism, the vaccination records issued by Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Togo are recognized as equivalent to those issued by EU member states. Therefore, the government will also accept these vaccination records from midnight on December 8. The vaccination record issued by the district is an approved vaccination record.
