Against the background of the dismissal of the club's general manager, Neil Olshi, are Portland going in the direction of another shock?
At least according to a wide-ranging article published tonight (Monday) in "Athletic" Blazers star Damian Lillard is very unhappy with the team's professional situation and wants to play in one team along with Ben Simmons, the Australian guard of Philadelphia, who is in a particularly deep controversy against the Siskers.
As is well known, two days ago, Portland announced the dismissal of Olshi, who had been the professional authority for the past nine years, but even before he left he had time to discuss the option of transferring Simmons to his (former) team.
Damian Lillard would like to play with three-time All-Star Ben Simmons, sources tell @ShamsCharania and @sam_amick.
Under Neil Olshey, the Trail Blazers discussed the framework of a trade for Simmons.

"The poor defense due to Portland will improve drastically along with Simmons," Athletic wrote, "The collaboration with Lillard will get the team out of the pit it is in. Not every day, two stars on such a scale can cooperate."
Athletic also reports that as part of the same trade, which he managed to put on the dismissed Aloshi table, there was talk at the time of transferring Simmons to the club ranks in exchange for CJ McCollum, selecting a first-round draft pick and another young Blazers player (Anfrani Simmons).
