Ohlstadt
- Two men were injured in a serious ice accident on Monday morning on Bundesstraße 2 near Ohlstadt. The B2 was closed for about three hours, and traffic was diverted to the autobahn via the new junction. According to the police, a 41-year-old from Niederorschel was heading north from Eschenlohe at around 7:30 a.m. when he slipped on the ice-covered road with his Daimler Vito and hit the oncoming lane. There the van collided with the oncoming Nissan of a 28-year-old Uffinger. Ambulances brought the two injured drivers to the Murnau Accident Clinic. The property damage amounts to around 25,000 euros. The fire brigades from Ohlstadt and Eschenlohe set up a complete closure of the B2.Since larger quantities of operating materials had leaked from the vehicles involved in the accident, they had to be caught with binding agents. The emergency services also distributed road salt.
