It remains to be seen exactly where and at what power.

A storm is forming off the coast of Ireland.

Named Barra by the local meteorological services, it will partly affect France from Tuesday.

For the moment, Météo France, anticipates only vigilance because of the risk of submersive waves in Finistère.

Regarding the power of the wind, the meteorological body mentions gusts which could be limited to 80 km / h along the Breton coasts and the Channel in Normandy.

As this animation shows, France is on the margins of this storm.

But uncertainty remains over Barra's precise trajectory.

A passage a little further south would have more significant consequences in France.

To follow the evolution of the #Tempete #harry which could blow very hard on the British Isles.

In Ireland, a red alert was triggered for Tuesday along the south-western coasts of the country.

Meteorologist Guillaume Séchet mentions gusts of up to 180 km / h at sea.

The Irish weather, for its part, in addition to these strong gusts at sea and on the capes, expects an average wind inland at 80 km / h.

Regular gusts would reach 130 km / h within cities like Cork or Galway.
