As part of the preventive measures taken by Al-Baath University in Homs to prevent the corona virus, a temporary center to receive the vaccine was opened today in the university hospital.
Dr. Abdul-Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, told SANA reporter that the goal of creating the center is to provide the vaccine to all workers wishing to take it, indicating that work is being done in coordination with the Homs Health Directorate to reach the desired goal of creating it.
He pointed out that the university has sought, since the spread of the virus, to take all measures to prevent and reduce infection by spreading awareness among students, sterilizing faculties, auditoriums and service facilities, and also implementing a vaccination campaign for university students.
In turn, Dr. Burhan Knozi, Deputy Director of Al-Baath University Hospital, indicated that the vaccination campaign will last for four days for all university employees and their families who wish to receive the vaccine.
