Temperatures tend to drop slightly while remaining 1 to 3 degrees Celsius above their average, with the country affected by an atmospheric high extension that extends into all layers of the atmosphere.
The Directorate General of Meteorology expected in its morning bulletin that the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, and cold at night in most areas, and the winds will be east to northeast, between light and moderate, and the sea will be light with a wave height, warning of the formation of fog in some inland areas.
Tomorrow, temperatures will remain slightly higher than their average for this period of the year, and the weather will generally be between clear and partly cloudy, turning to cloudy during the night hours, so that the opportunity is ripe for scattered showers of rain, starting from the coastal and northwestern regions.
During the past twenty-four hours, several areas in some governorates witnessed rains of varying intensity.
According to the Rain Enhancement Project Bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, precipitation rates in Damascus and its countryside amounted to 8 mm in Madaya, 3 mm in Sergaya and Harmon, and 2 mm in Jdeidet Al-Shaibani and Damascus Al-Mazzeh.
Daraa governorate recorded 3 mm in Sheikh Miskin and Nawa and 2 mm in Tel Shehab and Bosra, while it reached 6 mm in Quneitra governorate in Quneitra and 2 mm in Hader.
