Russian troop movements not far from the border with Ukraine are also a matter of serious concern in the West.
Satellite images from early November show large military units on the outskirts of the Russian city of Yelnya, only about two hundred kilometers from the border.
A possible Russian invasion of Ukraine is feared.
Russia is said to have concentrated more than 94,000 soldiers on the Ukrainian border.
Russia, on the other hand, accuses Ukraine of arming itself.
The growing tensions in the Ukraine-Russia conflict are also said to be the main topic at the video summit between US President Biden and Russian President Putin on Tuesday.
