During a debate in the Knesset, Smutrich demanded that Abbas condemn the terrorist attacks in Jerusalem and Samaria: "I have not heard a word from you."

Two weeks ago, RAAM issued a message only in Hebrew, in which they called for "avoiding violence and striving to live together."

Bezalel Smutrich called on Mansour Abbas to condemn recent attacks, Abbas refused and left the plenum (Knesset channel)
MK Mansour Abbas refused to condemn the recent terrorist attacks in Jerusalem and Samaria - and left the plenum. Tonight, during a Knesset debate, MK Bezalel Smutrich demanded that Abbas condemn the attacks: "I have not heard a word from you, you are a senior member of the coalition and your silence is loud." .
Abbas initially did not respond, then left the plenum.
Near midnight, the Knesset plenum convened to discuss the establishment of a public committee to determine the salaries of Knesset members.
The chairman of Religious Zionism, Smutrich, went up to the podium and called on the chairman of Ra'am: "Do you perhaps want to condemn this terrible attack?
To back up the Border Police fighters who are doing sacred work? ".
Abbas did not respond, and then got up and said to Smutrich: "Even when I spoke, you were not satisfied and attacked, and even now" - and left the Knesset plenum.

Abbas referred to the condemnation issued by the RAAM party after the attack in the Old City about two weeks ago, in which Eli Kay was killed - then the party called for "avoiding violence". The response was published by RAAM only in Hebrew and not in Arabic.
"For decades Ra'am has opposed and condemned and acted to prevent harm to innocent people on both sides, and will continue to do so especially when it comes to innocent civilians," the party claimed about two weeks ago. To live together in peace, security, partnership and tolerance, as stipulated in the vision of the Prime Minister.
