On St. Nicholas Day, a boy (4) was injured in an accident in Bad Tölz.
Since the statements of those involved contradict each other, the police are now looking for witnesses.
Bad Tölz
- On Monday, December 6th, around 8.15 a.m., the four-year-old boy from Bad Tölz suffered a broken lower leg in a traffic accident, according to the police.
The child and his mother were standing at the push-button traffic light on Bairawieser Strasse.
The two of them were on their way to kindergarten on Hot Street.
There was contact between the car and the child
The 47-year-old mother had pressed the push button for the traffic light and when the traffic light showed “green light” for pedestrians, the boy stepped out onto the street.
At the same time, a 32-year-old from Tölz with his BMW car, coming out of the hot street, turned left into the Bairawieser street.
According to his information, the traffic light for vehicles showed "green", whereupon he drove over the pedestrian crossing.
This brought about contact between the car and the child.
Since the statements of both parties involved in the accident differ with regard to the traffic light switching, the Bad Tölz police station asks any witnesses to call 08041-76106-0.
