A 40-year-old woman was killed today (Tuesday) by a bus on Saharon Street in Jaffa.
After lengthy rescue operations, MDA teams were forced to determine her death. According to medical sources in the accident, three others were lightly injured.

Due to the car accident, the traffic police are on the scene and are handling the incident along with directing the traffic of vehicles from Jerusalem Boulevard to Saharon Streets and a string to the west.
The drivers are asked not to come to the place and make use of alternative roads.
Yosef Sasson, a paramedic on an MDA motorcycle, said: "When we arrived, there was a big commotion.
We saw a bus on the side of the road and under it a woman in her 40s was caught.
"After lengthy rescue operations, we performed medical tests on her, she was without signs of life and unfortunately we had to determine her death on the spot."

Shmuel Meshulam, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: "According to passers-by, the bus collided with the nursery and she was crushed to death. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene due to the serious injuries she suffered.
